Just published release notes/short upgrade guide for the @tailwindcss/typography plugin: https://t.co/ZAFLOg2S8F This latest version is compatible with Tailwind CSS v2.0 and upgrading should only take a minute or two 👍🏻

Is it possible to make something like `npx @tailwindcss/cli` work? I can't for the life of me figure out how to get npm to let me publish a package where there's a `bin` entry like "@tailwindcss/cli" 🤔

For anyone using Tailwind CSS v2.0 with PostCSS 7, we had to change how we publish the compatibility build due to some bone-headed assumptions I made about semver calculations 🙃 Should fix issues you might be having! Updated installation details here: https://t.co/Llh8NB6kwA https://t.co/W303n6Q2V8

Even this many years in, the hardest part of putting anything into the world is trying to ignore all of the inevitable vitriol and malicious criticism from people who forget that real human beings are making this stuff, and that it takes a lot of courage to share anything at all.

Head's up — the search on the Tailwind site is returning no results at the moment because the new site uses a different HTML structure and I didn't think to co-ordinate that with the Algolia team 🤦‍♂️ We'll get it sorted out when everyone wakes up, sorry!

Think we’ve got a solution to this for now. We’re going to publish a PostCSS 7 compatible version as well under a “compat” tag: npm install tailwindcss@compat ...if you’re using a framework that hasn’t upgraded yet. Nice thing is we’re able to do it in the same branch. https://t.co/p375yAL0P6

Crazy how few tools are compatible with PostCSS 8 yet :/ Create React App is the latest one I'm running into. Really thinking we will have to stick to PostCSS 7 for Tailwind 2.0 or no one is going to be able to even use it.

@adamwathan @folorunjay @tailwindcss Yes and when working across multiple teams naming is a nightmare. We did an experiment of asking people to create a card component and watched how long it took them to do it. Naming took the longest and figuring out if its a modifier or a block etc. it was an fun experiment

48 hours later I have gotten pretty fast with @tailwindcss Bonus, now I understand two other things I never really got around to wrapping my head around: mobile-first responsive, and the new flexbox and CSS grid stuff. Really cool shit. @adamwathan you have another convert! https://t.co/AxC206AHRE

TIL: <img> `width` and `height` attributes are back in fashion for signaling aspect ratio to the browser. Combined with loading="lazy", you can really improve performance without a bunch of layout shift. h/t @adamwathan 🧢 https://t.co/hHsIBRmonQ

A little more than two years ago, I started @tuple with two fellow developers. From the beginning, we fantasized about hiring a full-time designer to help us make the app super polished and well-considered. Today, we're taking the first step. https://t.co/yx6MYQifZt

My M1 MacBook Pro arrived today. Chances are you have various questions, but I think a whole lot is summed up in this 50-second video. (Alt text, because Twitter still doesn't make this easy: Xcode 12.3 beta unzips in 5 minutes on an M1, vs 13 minutes 22 seconds on an Intel i9) https://t.co/STiivUXXnH

When I notice myself worrying about “what other people will think” I find I’m usually not worried about any single person’s opinion. If I pick a specific person, I‘m rarely concerned about what they will think. What I fear is the collective opinion in my head. It’s imaginary.
