EPP Ministers for 🇪🇺 & Foreign Affairs gathered in Brussels ahead of the General Affairs Council for a meeting chaired by @k_edtstadler & attended by @ManfredWeber & @McGuinnessEU. They discussed 🇪🇺support to Ukraine, competitiveness & challenges ahead of the 2024 elections.

Today is #WorldDownSyndromeDay, a day to raise awareness and celebrate the unique contributions of people with Down syndrome to our society. It's a day to recognize their abilities and talents, and to honour their strength, resilience, and spirit.

EPP Agriculture Ministers, chaired by Minister @marvuckovic from Croatia, met today in Brussels ahead of the AGRIFISH Council. They discussed the current challenges European farmers are facing, in light of the continuing war in Ukraine.

Today, the EU agreed to immediately supply Ukraine with 1 million rounds of ammunition & jointly procure 155 millimetres artillery shells before the end of the year. This is European defence in action. #SlavaUkraini #StandWithUkraine

EPP Finance Ministers, co-chaired by @Paschald & @VDombrovskis met ahead of today’s ECOFIN. They discussed challenges of the🇪🇺economy & how to simplify its fiscal framework. They also stressed the need for responsibility & transparency on debt reduction, reforms and investments.

EPP Labour and Social Affairs Ministers met in Brussels, chaired by @karienvangennip, ahead of tomorrow's EPSCO Council. They discussed, with @dubravkasuica, EPP priorities for the 2024 European elections, as well as a deeper focus on demographic challenges and social cohesion.

Russian involvement in anti-government protests in Chisinau is another example of Putin's campaign to destabilise European democracies.   The EPP supports Moldovan President @sandumaiamd & her efforts to lead Moldova towards EU integration.
