A bit of speculation about upcoming iMacs later this year. I think we'll see a 27-inch iMac very similar to the current model rather than an iMac Pro. Also think we'll end up seeing a fairly modest performance upgrade this year: perhaps a 12-core M1X instead of 16-core.
One personal reason I like the M1 Macs: Last year I built a detached shed / office that runs off a 200 watt solar panel. Currently I use an Intel NUC but when it comes time to upgrade, I'm getting a M1 Mac...the efficiency transforms what I can accomplish on a 200 watt panel.
AI? In your TV? Yes, it's more likely than you would think!
I spoke with expert TV reviewer @Caleb_Denison about the use of AI to upscale classic films and shows. It's more pro than con but uh...don't like, try to hook your new TV to a VCR or something.
The @Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga brought back good memories of my old ThinkPad T42 with the 4:3 display. The Titanium felt a lot like a modern interpretation of that laptop https://t.co/lXnKDeZ3Wv
Another awesome quarter for #PC as the market grew 55.2% in 1Q20. Yes, that's high but important to remember that last year was start of pandemic when manufacturing had shut down for an extended period.
Happy 22nd birthday to @EverQuest! Released in 1999, it’s still going strong today. Why not celebrate by learning how this famously influential MMORPG was made? https://t.co/YAkk6Lucke#EverQuest#MMORPG
