I agree with everything in this article, expect I still expect there to be a deal. It’ll be a bad deal, but even Johnson knows that no deal in a pandemic is not a viable option. If I thought otherwise I’d be buying dollars and pasta. https://t.co/WvQrnYffhm

For those who have privacy concerns about the NHS Covid app, it uses Apple and Google’s API, not governments. If you are a conspiracy theorist and don’t trust Apple and Google, remember you have installed their OS anyway so it makes no difference! https://t.co/DGSwpI2aST

This is a total failure of government isn’t it? We have left the EU, so this is nothing to do with Brexit. It’s a government so incompetent that in the middle of a pandemic they’ve got themselves into a position where they have to build a border around Kent. https://t.co/B0aKcsarP6

This is I think a well thought out initiative to help theatres, performers and the thousands of technical and support jobs in the live events, theatre and music industries. It will allow us all to continue going to theatres, both now and in the future. Please have a look. https://t.co/EcWWs60YkY

The interesting thing to me about this reprehensible outburst is the silence on his own benches. He’s lost his party, and rightly so. https://t.co/0917T8ifts

I see some amusing twitter profiles every day but this one is probably the best. I think it’s a real person because it’s too unhinged to be a bot account :-) https://t.co/97xj5AyqcT

Good article - echoes what I’ve thought for a while now. It is the Conservative Party alone that can (and probably will) take responsibility for removing Cummings from No 10. The problem is that nobody will want the top job until post Brexit transition and Covid is on the wane. https://t.co/mKKAKLMCh0

I just received a letter through my letter box at home addressed to "Professor Brian Cox, The BBC, Bristol". It was a complaint about the "raucous background noise of the so-called music". My thanks to the Post Office for acting above and beyond the call of duty.

I was reminded (long story) about how cool NASA's Deep Space Network website is - it shows you which spacecraft are in contact now - for example as I type @CanberraDSN is in contact with Voyager 2 :-) https://t.co/YvmjZ0i2Nm

I'm literally staring at a call that opened today that might help fund @the_zooniverse and let us do new things. The deadline is in January. I need to decide roughly now if we're going to apply. It's impossible to make that decision because no-one knows what is happening. https://t.co/HIfxSlE7dx
