From a pure viewership perspective: ESPN and Turner Sports should do everything in their collective power to push for this. The NBA, coming off an awful viewership story, needs a ratings momentum play early. Obviously, the virus will ultimately make this timeline. https://t.co/ODFxEtZRLa

I'm interested in this question because I think the answers are always revealing. Twitter, obviously, has massive limitations on providing an in-depth response. But I'll let the mentions build up if interested in reading. What will America look like in 100 years?

Does not get said nearly enough but a sincere thank you to all the medical researchers and those involved in clinical trials in the U.S. and Canada to find a vaccine. I believe one day they will produce a global one if science is supported. https://t.co/pNEgu2pcb0

Two quick stories about Pele off this fantastic one below: I got a chance to interview him 1 v 1 at a theater at The Museum of Modern Art. It was for the U.S. premiere of PELÉ ETERNO, a doc on him. I wanted to create some quick chemistry so I said upon meeting him, "Bom Dia!" https://t.co/YaCZALx2z7

If I was running a sports league, I would have a major sporting event/quality matchup start immediately after a Presidential Debate concludes and promote it as an escape from politics. Bet it would it rate big, even with the late start.

Random tweet. The other day I found myself in a YouTube time suck watching WWE clips. Watched Stone Cold pranking the McMahons. First, how good a heel has Stephanie McMahon been for decades? Incredible. My other thought: Just how dependable a storyline going against authority is.

Great point from Flora Kelly of ESPN. The topic is TV viewership but I think it applies broader. "I think as a country we are in the middle of this pandemic fatigue malaise, and I think sports right now isn’t reflecting that return to normalcy that everyone has expected." https://t.co/uvQJpFrPY0
