I’ve been struck by two things:
1) how many people think getting a vaccine appointment is an impossible task
2) how many of those people are deeply invested in getting a PS5 for them, their friends and their friends’ friends https://t.co/dpcNp1IPKb
please untag me when you start arguing with racists in my mentions. while I appreciate your efforts to shovel your time and attention into a bottomless sarlacc pit, I must regretfully decline your invitation to go spelunking into some loser’s deeply predictable pathology
*glances at name* *glances back at white supremacist* while it is true my name is from a culture I don’t belong to I regret to inform you https://t.co/gq3FDixfHR
I’ve seen so many types of “How did these motherfuckers [typically a chain store] get PPP loans” stories that I’ve ceased to be outraged, until now, because how the fuck did these motherfuckers get 1 million in PPP loans https://t.co/XLK5Zj2yqM
this is one of the most incredible tweets I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m weeping. I cannot tell at all whether it is parody or for real. No matter what, it’s a work of art. https://t.co/5353HwNz7X
Computers are an awe-inspiring invention that have given us the capacity to create a thousand libraries of Alexandria. So of course we took that technology and used it to sell garbage jpegs of public domain works while creating massive carbon emissions for the indefinite future

@sarahjeong Booked multiple family appointments using my ps5 copping skills. I'm not even kidding. Camping sites for drops, multiple states. Same exact skills.
Baldwin’s remark that “Urban renewal is negro removal” is 60 years old, but when mocking actual history as “wokism” gone mad, it helps for both the mocker and their audience to be completely ignorant of that history. Relies on it. https://t.co/PQ3BkDNtRR
When we brought our findings to Google, the company doubled down: It blocked an additional 32 terms related to social and racial justice, including “civil rights,” “believe Black women,” “Black excellence,” and “queer.”
Writing in @wired, @LaurenGoode describes the ad-tech algorithmic cruelty trap she found herself in: eight years ago, she called off her wedding. Today, she is still bombarded with messages that track the progress of a marriage that never happened.
