It's difficult to "stick to space" when armed lunatics are running around my state shooting children. The Santa Fe school shooting was just four years ago. El Paso Walmart was three years ago. Now Uvalde. Just not acceptable.

A superb mission so far—some issues are to be expected given the "test" nature of the flight. Now comes the big job of bringing Starliner back safely. https://t.co/ACeZjdIBJc

First of all, I appreciate Katya sharing this information. Secondly, I'm reasonably confident that when I retire in ~15 years Russia will still be flying the Soyuz, if it is flying humans into space at all. https://t.co/0qH4moX8EE

Great video by @KSpaceAcademy on what's happening with SpaceX's Raptor engine tests in McGregor, Texas. There are an average of three a day, and while there have been two RUDs in the last month, it's likely not a big deal. https://t.co/vub1XzeO5H

Still no update since last night about Boeing's Starliner spacecraft supposedly en route to the International Space Station. According to the timeline Boeing distributed before launch, a go/no-go decision for approach to the station should occur ~2:30 p.m. ET.

Boeing’s Mark Nappi, in a post-launch press briefing, says two OMAC thrusters on the Starliner spacecraft failed during the orbital insertion burn. On-board flight control system took over and switched to backup thrusters to complete the burn, and Starliner is in a good orbit.
